Different prespective

Although I have posted many blogs against feminism. It is always good to not be biased. Therefore to see the pro feminism point of view I have researched the website http://feminism.eserver.org// This is an interesting website. It gives details on different theories of feminism. And it also educates people on the movements and projects they have. There are many interesting articles that can relate to Feminism. One of them that I liked was the issue on Global Trafficking and Women. It gives in full details of how women are oppressed due to this. Usually women are poor and are forced to do this due to the inequality in the workforce around the world. As well as many girls are just kidnapped and bought off for $400-$800. Then they are told they have to pay them back in order to be freed. Most times they pay them back four times and once they are let free they do not know any other world so they stay there. These are just some of the issues that this website points out. There are many important things that feminism do internationally. It is always good to see both sides of an argument, therefore this website is a good site to look into. And then you can be the judge if feminism does fight for equality and justice or if they simply want to be superior than men.

2 women who do not agree with eachother on feminism

People usually think that although not every women is a feminist they do believe in most things as they do. But in this debate between Rachel Marsden a sun columnist and a feminist polictian it is quite clear that not all women agree with feminists and their movements. Rachel makes good arguements on their point of view when it comes to enequailty with women and wages. She states that she is a woman and she is doing okay. And that she thinks most women who protest to feminists that they need to do more are the "untalented" women. The feminist polictian states that she does not feel like she is catergorized under untalented and that she does feel that the government is not doing enough. Apparently women still make 71 cents compared to the dollar that men make. She goes on to say that there is still a glass ceiling when it comes to women and politcs and the media. She further one states how society is accepting women being beat by their husbands. But women do beat men as well and in my opinion not much people protest against this. If you like to hear heated debated then this debate is good foy you to hear. It shows both sides of the spectrum. Both point of views did display good arguements but at the end of the day I believe in this era feminsim are being too narrow and are complaining way too much for everything. Lots of things happen to men that is not fair and does not happen to women. If everyone of different culture, race, ethnicity etc begin to complain for every little detail of life then their would be no happiness on this earth. Women Nazi?

Ever heard of the term "Women Nazi"? Well this nickname was given to the cops around Canada. Many people back in the late 1990s called cops this way because they did not believe in the wife assault law. What is the wife assault law? When a woman is physcially abused by their husband or significant other, all they have to do is call the cops and the police officer will come and arrest him right away. Now I was ment to interview a sociologist professor Terri Petkau but she was busy so she had sent me her link http://www.batteredmen.com/. Terri Petkau did a study on what wife assault is and why police officers did not agree with it. There were many different reaons but the one that I found interesting and not fair, was the fact that many women take advantage of this system. Police officers say that most women use wife assault as self-defense during a disagreement or retaliation. Then many women do not want to charge their significant other and take them back. And it is in an on going process. Many innocent men get arrested for no valid reason because they did not hit their wife or hit a woman. This law is highly praised by feminists and believe that in theory this is an accomplishment and is good for women that they do not need to be scared anymore and there is justice. But in reality many women are just taking advantage of this and police officers notice this. They feel like they are in a middle of a domestic dispute when they recieve the calls. So really, do police officers deserve this title?
